The METAX is a touring sea kayak that meets the needs of the serious sea kayaker. With easy access, a comfortable seat, it is responsive, quick turning and is easy to surf. It has all the facilities any paddler would want: bow and stern water-tight hatches; optional rudder and foot pedal system, and; recessed fittings. It is available it two constructions: 

The COMFORT spec uses vacuum bag technology to produce a high performance product. Epoxy resin; SGL carbon-kevlar, two types of sandwich; UV protection colours; seams inside and out. Available in two lengths of 520 and 525cm, the boat weighs 19-20kg 

The CLASSIC spec is a more economical construction using polyester resin with E-glass reinforced with carbon-Kevlar, an outside seam and UV protective colours. Again two lengths of 520 and 525 are available, weighing in at 25-26kg
